I had a fantastic time, riding a hired e-bike in the 50km Tour de Brisbane and I am looking forward to this years event! I’m hiring the e-bike this year from electric bikes in Milton. I was nervous about riding as I rarely ride on the roads on my normal girly bike. The event was incredibly well organised and I felt safe at all times. I rode to the Showgrounds with my son who was riding in the 80 km event. I’m a middle-aged woman of average fitness and I would highly recommend anybody to give it ago, as it was so much fun, friendly and so well organised. It was great to get a medal at the end (everyone gets one!) and see the various events and stalls in the Showgrounds afterwards. It was very exciting riding on busways and roads which are totally closed to traffic for the event. So excited about this year’s event!
